Meet Our Founder

Donna M. Neill, MS, ITDS, L-BCBA

Donna M. Neill’s journey from Sydney, Australia, to the United States in the 4th grade was just the beginning of a remarkable adventure. Raised by resilient, salt-of-the-earth parents, Donna learned early on the value of creating solutions rather than accepting the status quo. This upbringing shaped her into the innovative and fearless leader she is today.

In 2013, Donna achieved a significant milestone in her career by becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

She witnessed an urgent need for structured, behaviorally-based academic programs for students with ASD and related disabilities. Taking decisive action, Donna established numerous day programs across South Florida, becoming a driving force for change in her community.

In 2017, Donna relocated to Arizona, where she further applied her expertise as a Special Education BCBA and later as the Director of Specialized Programming at Mesa Public Schools (MPS). Recognizing the widespread need for restructuring within district Special Education programs, she embarked on a mission to share her knowledge with others.

Over the next year, Donna dedicated herself to research, writing, and development, culminating in what she believes to be the perfect blend of structured teaching, global teaching objectives, and ABA principles tailored for the school setting. Thus, The CMS Approach™ was born.

Through her unwavering dedication and passion, Donna continues to revolutionize the field of special education, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of countless students and educators alike. Donna wishes for everyone involved in supporting the Special Needs community to have the best and scientifically sound resources at their fingertips.
